The UpStAiRs Gallery provides an educational service to the visitor. As the gallery is commission free, all the details of the artists are available to view and read.
Visitors to our gallery are inspired by our creative processes, and educated in the way that we work and visualise, who inspires us and why. Live workshops are available - bookings made.

Beccles Middle School
Activities week saw 50 students take part in a drawing and lifecasting event, viewing works at the gallery and understanding artists and the materials they use.
STUDENT SHOWS
There are rooms that schools and colleges are available to rent at a reduced rate to show their students works. These are available throughout the year, booking required.The students will be provided with a mentoring service*, and shown examples of the standards required to exhibit.
These visits to the gallery can be made by individual students or timed as whole groups.

We are a gallery that is dedicated to Arts For All, students, emerging artists, professional and established.
VOLUNTEERS
We always need volunteers, if you are an adult student in education and can spend some spare time to volunteer at the gallery and gain experience in marketing promotion, the arts and business we need you! Especially for the holiday seasons, but all year round assistance required.Please forward your contact details to the gallery.
Students during the summer months and holidays, we need you. Assistance with hanging and invigilation, reception and maintenance of the gallery, we need your help. In return the gallery will aid you with your C.V. and biography skills for your future endeveours.
*charges may apply for the mentor service, these charges will be made to the school, please ask for further information.
